Yesterday, a bunch of deluded morons clad in tacky ass American flag garb went to go see their cult leader speak at the Iowa State Fairgrounds.
It started out with, of course, how much he won Iowa by. Apparently, he won 98 out of 99 counties, and he thinks they should get rid of that one county he lost. Because anyone or anyplace that doesn’t shamelessly worship him has to go.
Of course he has to talk about his big win with that bullshit bill. Apparently it is a “Declaration of Independence”. These idiots are cheering the decimation of freedom.

And that we have to beat them because they hate our country. Nice. Seems totally normal that a sitting President would say that he hates all of the lawmakers that don’t vote his way. There was a lot of unhinged rambling, flitting from topic to topic, as he normally does, usually focusing on how great he is. He’ll be the greatest President in history, even greater than Washington and Honest Abe. We are now the hottest country in the world according to the King of Saudi Arabia. He claimed that he saved Los Angeles and also stopped people from tearing down the statue of Thomas Jefferson in the Jefferson Memorial. Apparently, all he had to do was sign something threatening ten years in prison if anyone touched a statue. Too bad he didn’t do that on January 6th, since it took little to no effort at all. Wonder why he didn’t?

Then he had to go and thank a zillion people, especially the “faith leaders” who have more power than anyone apparently. I’m guessing he means some sort of divine whatever. He mentioned that 89% of Evangelicals support him and he doesn’t believe that the other 11% don’t. He wants to bring religion back stronger. I’m guessing he means that everyone is supposed to start worshipping him. Much like the King of England was the head of the Church? He warned that NY is trying to elect a Communist at the highest level and that he wants to destroy NY. Cheeto called him a Marxist lunatic and Cheeto is going to save NY because he loves NY (no he doesn’t). So basically, he’s going to interfere with New York City’s elections. He said the states have to run their own education. He leaves out the fact that they’ll still have to teach what HE tells them, like fake science and hatred.
You know, not for nothing, but if you notice, the camera shots are pretty tight. You never get a real wide angle shot. I’m guessing that there was actually probably not too many people there. Only at the end of this self flagellating speech did the camera pan out and really, it didn’t seem like a huge crowd at all.

Cut taxes for the top 1% of households (in case you don’t realize, NONE OF YOU ARE THE TOP 1%);
Cuts billions of dollars of funding for Medicaid and Food Stamps (you see MAGA crybabies everywhere that are shocked that this is effecting them. For some reason, they really didn’t think that they’re going to be screwed. They think this shit for some reason doesn’t apply to them. Like this twit. Or this one. Or this guy. Or this one. I could go all day;
Reduced the corporate tax rate to 21% from 35%;
Reduces support hospitals receive from states to care for Medicaid enrollees. By the way? This will directly affect their ability to care for people WITH private insurance as well. You people really need to fucking think;
Strips tax incentives for wind, solar and other renewable energy and ends electric vehicle tax credits. Who gives a shit about the environment? Climate change is all a scam, even as we watch children washed out of their summer camps in Texas due to catastrophic flooding;
Increases the deficit by $3.4 trillion. Who do you people think pays for this?;
Allocates $75 billion for immigration detention and hiring of ICE officers. Basically, ICE’s budget is now more than the FBI, DEA, US Marshalls and Bureau of Prisons combined;
$46.5 billion to finish the border wall;
Imposes a $100 fee to apply for asylum, and increases the fee to appeal an Immigration Judge’s decision from $110 to $900. This is flat out making it harder for people to do things they have a legal right to do;
Increases costs for Medicare enrollees;
Imposes new out-of-pocket costs on Medicaid enrollees;
Increases your monthly student loan payments. They really want to discourage any sort of education. Stay stupid everyone!;
Takes away food assistance from foster kids, veterans and the homeless. That’s how much they are all about the kids and our veterans. We know they don’t give a fuck about the homeless;
Creates a $100 million slush fund for the architect of Project 2025 so he can continue to fleece the American people.
There’s a reason these MAGA shit heads draft these 1000 page documents that no one really fucking reads. It’s because they are lying trash. Same shit, different day.
